NACE International equips society to protect people, assets, and the environment from the adverse effects of corrosion. Already an extensive user of the Birkman, NACE was looking to invest in their high potential leaders to drive its future strategy.

NACE decided to invest in The Teamwork Sharks® Leadership Challenge, a program designed to help organizations invest in their next-generation leaders while increasing their unique market advantage for the future. This multi-phase approach uses Birkman Mindset data to help leaders understand their mindsets and how they could become uniquely effective in leading innovation.
Result
The Teamwork Sharks Leadership Challenge was a great success at NACE. The three most significant gains from the program were: helping leaders develop their unique strengths by learning new ways to learn from their blind spots. Next, finding opportunities to collaborate helped to break down barriers and build trust. Lastly, the program provided a spark for these high potential leaders to drive innovation and help deliver on the organization’s strategic commitments for the future.
