Challenge

NACE International equips society to protect people, assets, and the environment from the harmful effects of corrosion. As an organization already familiar with and committed to using Birkman, NACE wanted to take the next step by investing more intentionally in its high-potential leaders. The goal was not simply to develop talent in a general sense, but to prepare future leaders who could help drive innovation, strengthen collaboration, and support the organization’s strategic direction.

Action

To build the next generation of leadership, NACE invested in The Teamwork Sharks® Leadership Challenge, a program designed to help organizations develop emerging leaders and strengthen their long-term competitive advantage. The program followed a multi-phase approach and incorporated Birkman Mindset data to help participants better understand how their mindsets shaped the way they led, learned, and approached innovation.
